Travis Hicks is the co-owner and President of Flatline K9. Travis’ career in law enforcement has spanned more than twenty years and is currently a K9 Officer. In addition to his law enforcement career travis served as a paramedic for more than 20 years as well, working in both law enforcement and ems at the same time. travis has a bachelors degree in business management and has completed numerous courses toward his masters degree in workforce education and development. Travis is a certified master trainer through Tarheel Canine School for Dog Trainers having successfully completed their six month resident master trainer course. Travis is married and has an adult daughter and a son who is in jr high, and a granddaughter. Travis also has an adult stepson and a stepdaughter who is in high school.

Kirsten Hicks is the co-owner and vice president of flatline k9. in addition to her involvement in the business, kirsten is a registered nurse in the emergency department of a local trauma center. Kirsten holds a bachelors degree in psychology and has been an instructor for trauma nurse core curriculum (tncc). kirsten is married and has a son who is in the national guard, as well as a daughter who is still in high school. Kirsten also has an adult stepdaughter and a step son who is in jr high, and a step granddaughter.
